The Company

Villa Le Piazzole is a tiny bit of paradise close to the ancient heart of Florence, where time seems to stand still. Here we attend to our vineyards with almost obsessive care, aware of our great responsibility to tell a long story about our wines and about the unique properties of an extraordinary terroir.

The vineyards are emotion, suspense, a challenge to us - a challenge that starts far back in time and projects us into the future, striving to keep improving and to produce wines endowed with a true, intense, extreme, never ordinary personality.

We produce few bottles and distribute them with great care and constant personal involvement, because we believe that wine is a direct extension of the soil’s personality, of the grapes, of history, and, to some extent, of ourselves.

The Location's History

Villa Le Piazzole is the historical abode of the noble Florentine family of the Acciaioli, which dates back to the 15th century and is built around an older Medieval tower. Here history took its course, as shown by the still imposing structure of the main building and of its annexes, as well as by the beautiful Italian-style garden adorned with statues.
